Dan is a prolific TV writer who’s worked for every major network (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX), numerous streamers (Netflix, Disney+), and most major cable networks (HBO, CNN, Discovery, AMC, MTV, Lifetime, TLC, and The Food Network among others). His credits cover a variety of formats including big-budget competition shows (Big Brother, Rockstar: Supernova, On the Lot); hard-hitting documentaries (The People v. the Klan); sports docu-series (QB1: Beyond the Lights); reality series (Solitary, Ace of Cakes, For Better or for Worse); animation (Max Steel); international hits (Naked and Afraid, Guinness World Records: Prime Time); network specials (Women of the Bible, World’s Scariest Ghosts, World’s Deadliest Earthquakes); and the Emmy-nominated Intervention: The Heroin Triangle.
Dan has also applied his talents to nearly every other form of media including commercials, informational programs, talk shows, clip shows, and industrial videos. In the digital realm specifically, he was head writer for the Shorty Award-winning Snapchat series Superhuman as well as the series Maxxed and Unbreakable (500 million combined original views and counting). As head writer for VIMBY, mega-producer Mark Burnett’s digital content studio, Dan wrote award-winning content for numerous Fortune 500 companies including Walmart (Effie and Marketing Partner of the Year Awards), Kimberly-Clark, and Intel.
